About Derbyshire Lives through the First World War

May 28th, 2014

Derbyshire Lives through the First World War is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Derbyshire County Council. The project aims to help Derbyshire communities to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War in 2014 and to recognise the ongoing contribution of Derbyshire people throughout the War.

Through Derbyshire communities and their events we want to paint a picture of the lives of Derbyshire people during the First World War, those who were directly involved in the conflict and those whose lives were affected at home.

We can offer help in applying for funding and can put you in touch with artists, performers and writers who can contribute to your events. We also offer training and equipment to help you deliver your project.

For more information and to see if we can help you with your ideas, please get in touch via the addresses and phone number on the Contacts page.
